Ah well, even if the puddy tats had prevailed, they'd have headed off to Dallas again. And we know how that worked out a couple weeks ago. So no biggie. Just another year. Still can't get over the extension on Caldwell, tho. What a joke. That was minor. The worst call was the non-call on Paul Richardson, who clearly grabbed Tavon Wilson's face mask. Even Mike Pereira said that Richardson committed offensive pass interference.

How can the Lions not be the SOL? Easy. Yesterday they were worse than SOL.

I can see why most people don't listen to you though. I'm not going to point out why because I promised to keep it a secret.

-MachAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3134378665307917746.post-83026862011560801112017-01-08T19:38:34.667-08:002017-01-08T19:38:34.667-08:00Hey Mach. Good to hear from you again. Not buying ...Hey Mach. Good to hear from you again. Not buying the biased officiating. The ball to Jones was uncatchable indeed. Right non-call. The stupid penalties, personal fouls, etc., can be blamed on nobody but the Lions themselves. Agree with your take on Stafford. If I was him, I'd take a hike to, ASAP, to a place where I have at least a shot at the big prize. Ain't gonna happen in Detroit. Same old Lions? I've been telling people that would listen, and they were few, all year to get ready for the usual heartbreak because these guys aren't as good as they think they are. The proof is in the pudding. Five games against playoff teams and five losses. Hell of it is, by making the playoffs, their schedule will probably get toughened up some next year. Couldn't be any easier than this season. In the end, it just another year of Lions business as usual. Lots of hope, but the inevitable crash at the end. In that regard, how can it NOT be the SOL? Which, by the way, seems to be a very fitting acronym. LOL John Leachhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01489933287811373294noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3134378665307917746.post-19578540086920227732017-01-08T18:02:13.702-08:002017-01-08T18:02:13.702-08:00Biased officiating. Balls being dropped like flies...Biased officiating. Balls being dropped like flies. Subpar coaching. Lack of discipline. I could go on. This wasn't Same Old Lions. This was worse.

The Same Old Lions would have either pulled out a fluke win or lost by single digits at the last minute. The Same Old Lions wouldn't have rolled over in the 4th quarter. This was WORSE than SOL. Worse.

If I were in Stafford's shoes, I would NOT extend my contract. I would issue the front office an ultimatum: Give me a better team and better coaching, or I will walk to greener pastures.

I wouldn't be surprised if Stafford decides to walk in 2018. He saw what happened to Megatron and Barry, and he probably doesn't want to suffer the same fate.

The Lions are notorious for breaking hearts. I wouldn't be surprised if they win a Super Bowl while breaking Detroit's heart the same way the Ravens broke Cleveland's heart.

Come to think of it, why is this team even called the Lions? They lack the killer instinct that Lions have.

-MachAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
