A very bad omen.

No, this isn't about Obamacare, Lance Armstrong and Paula Deen teaming up for a zesty new recipe, or even about recently fired Detroit Lions' head coach Jim Schwartz's chances of replacing Roger Goodell as NFL Commissioner.

Nor does it have anything to do with Jim Leyland hosting Saturday Night Live, Ron Burgundy successfully running for President in 2016 with a Kardashian as his veep, or Pope Francis stepping down so Cowboys' owner Jerry Jones may assume the papacy. How do you say yee-hah in Latin?

Most would agree those would not exactly be optimum scenarios.

But in the Detroit area, sports fans have something else to worry about. No, not the Lions. That's 50 year old news.

During the second half of their recent game against the Detroit Pistons, while the Memphis Grizzlies were holding them to a paltry 28 total points while scoring at will themselves -- the following comment was overheard on the Grizzlies' bench regarding playing the Pistons:

Wow (giggle, snort), this is just like a pick-up game at the Y.

For Pistons' fans -- this is indeed a very bad omen.
